I've decided on a new system of rewards for the contest. 1st place gets the winning shot uploaded to the gallery PLUS one shot of their choice. 2nd and 3rd place both get their contest entries uploaded to the gallery.

And just like in the last contest, you are allowed to use pictures you already have in your gallery. You do not need to take a new shot for this contest. However, if you want to take a new picture, by all means do it.

Hopefully that clears up any questions you may have had. If you have others please feel free to ask.

Hey everyone, its that time again. What time, you ask? Contest time!

The theme this time around is "Music" So, anything you take related to music, be it concerts, your CD player, A trumpet player, etc will be a good entry.

Hey everyone!

Long time no see. Sorry about the absence for the past 2 weeks. A death in the family and then thanksgiving break both put deviant art and subsequently this group into a "to do" pile.

There isnt a whole lot of news to report. I think I will open up another contest to members tomorrow so be on the lookout for that.

Hey guys,

I am so sorry fro not keeping up with notes and submissions and the like this past week. I had a family emergency that has taken energy that would normally be directed to this group. Just to let you know how serious this has been, this past week I have gotten no more than 4 hours of sleep each night, and have been busy for the rest of the 20 hours I spent awake. Bear with me as I pull through the crisis (probably next week).

With all that said, it looks like we have a handfull of submissions to the Abstract Color contest. Remember you have until tomorrow at midnight in my timezone (Mountain) to subit an entry.

Also, if you were once a member and still have the album's icon in your journal send us a note stating this.

One more thing, The DAmn channel #the-abandoned-album is up and running thanks to so go check it out.

Whew! sorry about the lack of activity over the weekend. I was super busy and let DA slide for a while. Keep the contest submissions rolling in. Dont forget you have until the 26th to get submit for "abstract color" We look forward to seeing more of your submissions!

Hey everyone, I know this group has had its troubles lately, but I hope to fix that. I recently recieved ownership from and hope to put some time into getting this group up and running again.

I'm a pretty busy college student so bear with me as we get this rolling again.
