The Abandoned Album is here to help expose photographers who aren't getting the attention they really do deserve!

We accept all types of photography.

1. Add *the-abandoned-album to your deviantWATCH list.

2. Then add us to your journal footer - if you aren't a subscriber to Deviant Art just make sure our avatar somewhere in the journal. Note that our avatar should be somewhere on every journal you have from the point you wish to join onwards. To display our icon, have the code : iconthe-abandoned-album : without the spaces.

3. Send a note to *the-abandoned-album with ‘Registration’ in the subject line.

From there, we will look through your gallery. If you’re up to the Album’s standards, we will add you to our deviantWATCH list and add you to the Member List journal. If we don’t think that you’re quite right for our community we will reply and let you know why. Don't fret if this happens, keep working on your photography skills, improve, and try again.


If you have been invited to join our Community, reply to the note in the affirmative after having completed steps 1 and 2.


Once you are a member and are on the Unfeatured List, send a note to us with the link to the photograph you wish to have in our gallery.

The Unfeatured List is only there as a sign to you, if you’re not sure whether you’ve had a piece uploaded. Photographs will be uploaded in order of the received note.
